I'm am totally new to film (just shot my first super 8 stuff a few months ago) and I was hoping I could get some information. I recently came across some Kodachrome 40 super 8 film that is way past it's expiration date (late 70's).
Anybody know what the possible problems are with shooting this film? Should I try and shoot it and see what happens? I'm not really sure what gives film an expiration date to begin with, so any help or suggestions would be totally appreciated.
Thanks!
