I was curious to know how the cinema sports project fared.
How many crews went out?
Who won?
Will you do it again?

The project went over very well. Over a dozen teams and a standing room only crowd for the screening. Yes, the DFC will do this again!

Here are a couple of photos from the DFC's Cinemasports event. We had a packed house - standing room only - and there was a great spirit of filmmaking in the house. Our editing suite got filled to capacity with teams crunching to make the deadline.

Was there a "winner"? Some events like this have submissions judged.

We didn't do winners/losers and judges and all that, though the top few on the Cinemasports website were ones that they considered the "best'. We're going to do another event in November and may decide to bring in judges and prizes. Keep posted to the DFC eNewsletter for updates and details.
